Description:

Megafuzz is a Danish independent game studio based in Aalborg, Denmark, aiming to create original and entertaining games for all platforms possible.

History:

Megafuzz was founded in 2013 by Jeff Jensen. It all began with him teaming up with graphics artist, Martin Bruun Pedersen at the IndieTAW game jam in the summer of 2012. The duo, who had never met before that jam (Martin having having never made a game before), ended up creating the prototype for Spoiler Alert. The game did very well at the jam, earning 1st prize as well as judge's favorite and audience favorite awards. Because they shared a great chemistry, Jeff and Martin decided to team up to make a full game out of their prototype.

And so the production of Spoiler Alert began. Located in separate cities, Jeff and Martin rarely had opportunity to meet up, so for the next six months of development, most of their communications would happen through Skype and Facebook, and all planning through tools such as Google docs.

Six months later when the game was nearing completion, Jeff and Martin was still going strong and was already discussing plans for future games with great excitement. There was no doubt that they both had a great wish and passion to keep making games together after Spoiler Alert, and agreed to pursue their true passion - independent game development.

Thus, to prepare for the launch of their flagship game as well as to have a base of operations for all future productions, the official Megafuzz studio was registered.
